| no partners | | A short hike on Friday from FR 139 to Barbershop Spring, after a cold night of car camping. My friend had his 4-year-old daughter with him. Originally we had planned a gravel bike tour of three days, but that was not to be due to the cold, windy weather. I guestimated the mileage and elevation gain.
I've backpacked 1/2 of the Cabin Loop (Fred Haught/Houston Bros. FR 300). Would like to do a two-night hike along the other half this summer (Barbershop/U-Bar/Houston Bros.) So, this also served as a bit of a scouting trip. I don't know the Rim very well. |

| | I'm not sure how to estimate this because it's so marshy in there. But there is water. | | _____________________
