Gorgeous scenery the entire length of this outstanding hike. Sadly the previous day a climber had died while descending from Mt Sill, I was approaching the glacier as a helicopter dropped off a SAR hardcore who was going up to retrieve the body. Easy to see how one could get into trouble up high on those gnarly peaks. Stayed 2 nights in the excellent Big Pine Creek campground.
