Moderate rain and cool at my house this morning. Sunny and warm at Usery Park where I met Denny. I absolutely overdressed for this hike.

We parked at the Wind Cave trailhead and did the loop counterclockwise. Trail is the same as usual—rocky in a few places, but overall good. Saw a handful of other hikers.

Tried out a new pair of Salomon X Ultra Pioneers. They are a little lighter than the regular X Ultras, and run smaller, but seem to be very similar otherwise.

Nice day, and good to see Denny again!
