| partners | | Quick hike before sunset and nice extra miles after doing South Fork Cave Creek earlier. Pretty easy loop from Herb Martyr Campground with some nice ferns and forest along the way. Checked out Ash Spring which had some decent water before continuing on the loop.
On the last two miles we crossed Cave Creek which had good water. However, we thought the trail would follow the creek only to find out that it stayed on a bench well above so we didn't get our creek side hike. Still a good hike before dinner. |
