| no partners | | This is a heavily populated but beautiful trail. It originates at the same parking lot as many other popular trails, so get there early if you want a spot. It's a huge lot, but still it does fill up unbelievably. There is also a shuttle bus stop at this trail head.
The first lake is nymph lake, the second is dream lake, and the last lake is emerald lake. The first lakes are actually much prettier than emerald lake, but I would still recommend going all the way to the end. The mountains surrounding emerald lake make it beautiful. Nymph lake has a lot of lily pads with big yellow blooms which were very neat to see. Dream lake is also very beautiful and clear.
You do lose some of the crowds as you keep hiking, but still there is a lot of people. The hike itself is easy. Easy in difficulty, easy to navigate, a large wide walking trail to support the many people in RMNP!
This is a beautiful hike in a sea of beautiful hikes!  Still I would recommend it, and the earlier, the better! |
