| no partners | | Yeah, my first afternoon hike in the Fall. After an appt in Scottsdale and before washing Tonto3, I decided to do a quick hike. From 38th St TH I did a counterclockwise loop around Happy Hour Ridgeline. The sky was beautiful so I actually took some pictures. The trail had a few roller coaster hills that are a good challenge for my lacklustre elevation prowess. I noticed a new trail; well actually it comes from over the hill... I always wondered where it went as I can see it from the other side. I'll have to give it a go one of these times.
It was nice to have slightly filtered sun for a lot of the hike. The clouds were wispy in places, a nice site to see. Only saw 1 bike rider and two hikers and a few birds.

Ten days in a row of gym class, 'hood walks and hiking. And that could get extended a few more days based on my planned schedule. |
