The lower suspension bridge is currently closed, but an out-and-back hike of most of this stunning podocarp forest trail is still possible. The water is dazzling turquoise similar to that of Havasupai or the Little Colorado and is created by what is described on information signs as ‘rock flour’. The sandflies were only slightly annoying, but overall a fun stroll and not too crowded on this misty afternoon. |
