| no partners | | Doing one of my regular bike loops, through Dreamy Draw, in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. Zipping down the bike path towards AZ-51 / Piestewa Freeway, I had just slowed down when I almost ran over a baby diamondback. I doubled back to shield him while he slithered off the path, then under a cool bush.
