I joined the Ladies of South Mountain for a jaunt around the park.

Starting at the Pima Canyon Trailhead, we completed a clockwise loop. The climb began right out of the gate on the Marcos De Niza trail. Linda and I only had to wait a few times for Kelly on the uphill sections. Guadalupe Ridge was another fun trail with great views and some minor boulder scrambles.

Hidden Valley Trail was equally enjoyable, featuring dry falls, a bridge, a tunnel, Fat Person’s Pass, and even an old mine.

We eventually gave up on Kelly and sent her packing down the road while Linda and I completed our longer loop.

The weather was perfect, and the company was okay.
