| no partners | | In payson this weekend and was unaware of the closures of the roads and trails because of the Horton fire. Was going to part of babe haught but the road was closed so I opted for this. Many others have been here before and I tried this past summer but took the wrong road. Started driving down the FR and got to a big icey puddle and decided to do the rest on foot after my incident at haigler creek. Not a bad road walk with nice views and a few deer. Went down the side canyon to get to the EV and it was super nice down there. Falls were flowing into clear blue pools with lots of ice. Too cold to swim today with lows in the 20’s but I’ll be back in a few months. Thanks to @chumley for helping me out with the roads  |
