| no partners | | | After hiking Rincon Peak, I drove up the road a few miles and parked at the pullout to check out Happy Valley Falls, expecting no water. It's a quick hike of roughly a third of a mile following a fence line, and the low expectations paid off--there wasn't much more than a trickle, but it was better than nothing and a beautiful area. The upper falls had a decent pool of dark water, and it's worth a return visit sometime when the falls are really flowing. [ youtube video ] |
