Work weekend and a prescription for a few easy miles brought me to another trailhead I have never set foot to trail from before.

Apparently you can roll a wheelchair down this one as it's paved. Didn't realize that this was a stretch of desert that didn't burn and the pristine conditions reminded me of what this side of the Superstitions used to look like before the September 2024 Siphon Fire.

Some puddles linger from a single heavier rain shower that hit the area in this last little attempt at a storm and a surprising number of floral blooms for late January. I guess the recent March-like temps can do that! As for today, I was pleased to experience temps that didn't get out of the 50s.
