Another stop on our Petrified Forest tour. The Blue Mesa Trail was the fav for both the wife and I. Once again paved, as were almost all the spots we visited. The Blue Mesa was a nice combination of painted desert and petrified forest. More “paint” than petrified. Colors were more muted than than what we saw in the painted desert, but still very striking.
