| no partners | | | Decided to hike up here and place a geocache at the top. I parked near the Beale Wagon Road monument and started headed up. GPSr showed 850ish vertical feet in .6 miles. It got steep fast and went up in a switchback type of way before just going up. It's a calf burner for sure. Eventually made it to the top and could see some of the mountains in the distance, though tree cover made it difficult. No summit log was located. Spent a 15ish minutes up here before heading back down. Fun hike. |
