| no partners | | | Got up EARLY to make the drive from Mesa to the trailhead by 7:30am in order to get parking. We got the last space. Temperature in the shade was cold, but in the sun it was nice. This is the time of year to go to get pictures of trees with colored leaves -- spectacular red, pink, yellow and orange leaves on many trees. If you're looking for the most color ones, hike in at least 1.5-2 miles. The kids went on this one and we enjoyed a casual pace, stopping periodically to let Mom take photos. |
