Any good hikes around Carefree?

Hi all! My husband and I will be spending some time in Carefree next weekend and want to do an early morning or evening hike in the area. I searched this site and found a few that were kind of close, but the reviews were not recent and a couple of them are just out of the question (no 4 wheel drive). Has anyone hiked in that area recently (this year) and/or know of any hikes that would be fun?

Seven Springs is popular. I haven't been there for awhile so I can't say how it is this year. But there is water.
