Reavis Falls Hike, AZ :: Question by mwinsor

Post by mwinsor »

Has anyone bushwacked the more direct route from Reavis Falls to Reavis Ranch, through the canyon? Planning to attempt that route this weekend, but would love to hear from someone who's tried it already.

We hope you are not going solo on this trip! Take a couple of robust friends in this attempt when you go and take your time, take some pictures and document well your adventure. Take along a SPOT just in case as this is a difficult trek. I have found Indian ruins along this route but not in the very bottom of the canyon.

Thank you!!! My husband and I will be attempting this together. While we're both pretty hearty and relatively experienced hikers, he's always a little more excited about adventures of the "unknown" than I am. Most of our hiking experience has been in the Superstitions - my personal favorite. So...I'll let you know what happens.
