I like to wear bright red, orange or yellow when I hike. Minimize confusion.

Re: Hiker mistaken for a turkey
I can confirm that wearing my neon lime HAZ shirt near bee swarming water fountains attracts 'em. I get stung a few times a year. None have been random. Rather when I unknowingly disturb them.Pivo wrote:Known colors that attract bees.
If the hiker has a fauna username, is the hunt fair game?

Hmmm, I always thought Bees were attracted to dark colors. I'm interested to know now, I'm more worried about bees than being mistaken for a turkey.

What would the world bee without the internet full of people spewing out misinformation based on something somebody told them that one time?

I'm not sure what my spirit animal is, but I'm confident it has rabies.

Re: Hiker mistaken for a turkey
Should I fear for my life if I quite often hike with a turkey?
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Beer... All brought to you by Budweiser beer. The wildlife area named after Augustus Busch Sr, wife donated enough money to the MDC to earn the name in the purchase from the Feds back in the 40's.
