High Milk Stool In The Sky...

Post by ssk44 »

To all HAZ members,

After a bit of reflection I have came to the realization that the only times I post comments on this forum, I am usually attacking people from my high milk stool in the sky. I am far from being an all-knowing expert on everything. I have a tendency to be somewhat cynical and intense when it comes to issues that push my buttons. I can get worked up at times. This is not a trait that I admire. It's usually better if I keep my mouth shut and mind my own business. I apologies to any individuals I have offended during my periodic rants. Keep in mind that I am not waffling on my opinions and views pertaining to various controversial issues. I mean what I say, however in the future if I must comment on something I will try and tone it down and minimize offense.

You're fine Eric. I for one appreciate you posting, especially on some of those less travelled areas I've never seen. In any tense thread you can see where the heat started. It starts on challenges not opinions, on top of every page
If you have an opinion then state it. Supporting your opinion with facts is best. Responding to members you disagree with is permitted if courteous.
Probably not bulletproof, however that line was thought out very carefully with lots of experience.

I post on a few forums, and it's unusual for there to not be too much heat. You should see some of the political forums.
Here's a few tips that I use on myself because I can get white-hot on certain issues:
*Stick to issues rather than personalities
*Remember that we're all in this together
*Live the Golden Rule
*Make sure that you ruthlessly slander your opponent, and vitriolically go after everything they ever post!

Actually, that last one is for political forums.

Isn't that redundant?
