labor day weekend

Post by pickelltree »

this is late, but i can't decide. i was thinking about paria or going to colorado, durango area, or where ever i guess. everything is still up in the air.

can anyone give me some direction for this weekend or does anyone need a hiking partner for the weekend. i am looking to be backpacking or basecamp away from anything busy and coming back monday.

Check the weather before you go, its not supposed to be very warm up here this Labor Day Weekend. Why not go to the Gila in NM? Its about the same distance, but not crowded and will be warmer than the high 60s to low 70s.

The Gila is worth getting to know. Bring some water shoes.
