Bugs in Arizona

Post by Al_HikesAZ »

I am going to put in a plug for http://arizonabeetlesbugsbirdsandmore.blogspot.com/ Margarethe Brummerman's blog. Margarethe is employed by the Department of Entomology at the University of Arizona. She is working on "Arizona Beetles", a photo field guide for serious entomologists and anybody who is fascinated by the beetles of our extremely diverse state. I became acquainted with her through her photos on Flickr and I have invited her to join HAZ and help with beetle indentification. So play nice my Tucson pals, and ASU alumni. :)

Always trying to expand our HAZiverse. :) But you raise a good question. What are we? Are we Hazers? or HAZzers? or Hazopellis? :? or Hazards?
I hope we don't have any Chazers!! (that's a little Yiddish humor)(very little)

Hazopelli are the elite Kokopellian breed, we hike therefore we are alive and free. The ears of our neighbors dance in glee upon the loft of our poetic singing wander.

HAZers seems easier for our native tongue IMO
