Wabayuma Peak Wilderness Area

Post by Dennis7 »

My son and I are going to backpack this area in late March of 2003. We read the article in backpacker. Wanted to know if anyone out there has any expriences with Wabayuma?
I been visiting Arizona the last 3 years. Mtn. Biking in Sedona, Backpacking/camping Grand Canyon.
What a beautiful state! We will be out there for about 7 days. Any more got to see areas around Kingman, and Sedona. We figure we will mtn bike Sedona again and backpack Wabayuma. We are also open to other areas to explore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to check with the BLM office in Kingman. Its a BLM administered wilderness.

Thanks,
I was just seeing if anyone had any personal exprience with Wabayuma. Wanted to see if there were any personal favorites. I had contacted BLM already and they have been very helpful.
