Beginner Trails

Post by Elaine2003 »

Does anyone know of any good/great trails that would be sufficent for a beginner?
Either here in the valley or else where in the state?
Preferably something with a low difficulity rating, but, distance is not of importance.
Many thanks!

so many trails, where to begin!

Sedona is great weather now...
Boynton Canyon never dissapoints
Huckaby Trail is great too
Sedona is beginners paradise so there's a zillion others

Near the valley, up by Bartlett Lake, Jojoba Trail is a good selection now

the valley is pretty warm this weekend but will be cooling down next week, in which case...
Second Water Trail or the beginning of Boulder Canyon are good beginner choices

the Sunset Trail #8 in the Catalinas down by Tuscon is a good beginner trail
it would be pleasantly cool too!
if that's too short, the Butterfly Trail may be a thought
though it did get scorched on the fringes and may still be closed
