I want to try to plan a backpacking trip for my fiance and I in May--he always talks about the Chiricahua Mountains. I don't have much info on them...can anyone help or direct to links on here that could help me?
Is May even a good time to go there? We live in Scottsdale...
Thanks

May-August is the ideal season for the wilderness. July and August are the best as the raspberries are out, but any summer month is perfect up there.
