I notice on TOPO! that there is a trail indicated up on the rim (creek left) above Havasu Creek down to its intersection with Beaver Canyon.
Has anyone traveled this trail? If so; would you mind sharing its existence, condition, etc? Is there a route down into Beaver canyon from the rim? Thanks.

Re: 'High' Trail at Havasu question
If you switch back-n-forth from Satellite to MY TOPO on TrailDEX Map you can see the trail clearly, in the beginning... then nothing. Perhaps it just lost interest being away from the main attraction. If not I'd imagine the issue is a slide along the way obstructing travel verse getting off that rim at the end. Hopefully someone knows, if not you have a worthy mission.

Is that one of the trails that is forbidden to non-locals?

Re: 'High' Trail at Havasu question
Yes, if it is on the Rez. Clearly, we non-tribal members are to stay off all trails except the main one. This did not used to be the case. Possibly some people can get permits, but I would expect that is going to be difficult to pull off.
