About two miles in though sounded like someone was doing target practice on the other side of the river which was a little un-nerving. Pup Creek Falls was beautiful. We had planned to continue on to the narrows but Pup Creek was too high to use the stepping stones and we didn't feel like wading. Flowers are starting to come around. Not a bad March hike! Great views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens on the way home. Stopped at a view point along I-205 for a nice shot. And the wife got another nice shot going over the bridge into Vancouver. |
