| no partners | | Went back to Deer Lakes Park to do a regular hike before we leave PA for the AZ heat. The clouds were out most of the day, making it nice and cool and with very low humidity. Not having the sun wasn't much of a big deal since for the majority of the hike it was extremely shady and secluded under the trees.
I lost the trail at one point, but using the map and my GPS, I was able to figure out where I was and did a mild bushwhack downhill to find the trail again. During the last half mile or so, I saw a lot of deer, including two fawns. It was hard to get a good picture under the trees due to the poor lighting conditions, but I did what I could. Got one very nice shot of a doe in a clearing. |
