Hiked up Kendrick on Saturday morning. The road in was in really great shape, even with the recent rains. On the way up we were in a dense fog, and the wind was blowing pretty good. The old cabin was pretty cool, signed in and took pictures, then headed to the lookout. At the top we had lunch and then at the invite of the lookout (Gary) we climbed up and went inside and then chatted with him for 20 minutes or so. With the dense fog/cloud cover the views were hit and miss but even so the hike was excellent. We then hiked 3 miles in/out on the Kachina Trail since it was still early. After all the hiking we stopped at Diablo's for a burger and fries, then hit the road back to Mesa.
