| partners | | Another nice section of the AZT. Joe set up the shuttle car the day before so we got to sleep in a little. ( thanks Joe). We hit the trail around 7:00 and it was a tad chilly. Within an hour the jackets were off. Joe and bruce brought some clouds and the weather stayed great all day. I did this hike once before with Dave and he didn't bring any clouds . We did use Dave's route so we didn't get off trail this time. There are a couple cool area along a creek that you wouldn't expect out here and of course the views are awesome. You have to see the Peeley area to understand how thick it is out there and why it's so hard for the ones looking for GPSJOE. Saw a few HAZERS cars at the Peeley trailhead and meet Kenny and his dog as we were leaving. Preston had left us a drink by are car from when he was up here Friday.(Thanks Preston!! ) Great Hike, Great Weather,Great Company! Thanks Guys! |
