Beautiful trail. Very enjoyable. I took #102 to the top of Woodchute and then headed west for a benchmark that I hoped would be there. Using the edge of the mesa for reference, I worked my way over to the mountain's highest contour line... As a fan of high-points, it was the best I could do.

After looking at the GPS for the millionth time I found myself in an open area where the benchmark was supposed to be. I stared at all of the immovable rocks and bam, found it! :D
Instant gratification. Circled around as I forgot if there were any reference marks, but all was clear and it was time to head back. Had to wait for 3 or 4 pinacate beetles that were hanging out in the middle of the trail.
