| no partners | | I had such a good hike in the Black Hills the day before, I just had to go right back out for another. This trip I spent the afternoon at the Black Hills Rockhound Area hunting for Fire Agate, collecting lava rock for a yard project & hiking up the rockhound trail to the rhyolite formations. These formations are so pumpkin cool and every time I visit them I find something new. Arriving back at the TH, I met a nice couple from Alaska hunting for Fire Agate and showed them a real nice piece that I had found earlier. The guy offered me $20 for it, I said it's worth 2 Jackson's and he agreed! I thought cool, that little rock payed for this trip  |
