I wanted to get one more hike in at Gila Box before the new hunts start tomorrow and chose the Orange Cliff overlook as today's destination. Parked at Bonita Creek and hiked up Bull Gap road and then down the spur road to the overlook. This was my first time to the overlook and it did not disappoint! Awesome views up & down the canyons carved out by the Gila River below. Met several hunters on their way in as I was coming out and spent a little too much time talking with them and ended up hiking the last mile in the dark. Capped the day off with a little moonlight photography at the entrance overlook ending another great trip out at the Box!

Wildlife sightings were the highlight of this trip. All were spotted along Bonita Creek and included a lone coatimundi, a beaver on it's dam and 5 Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep (1 ram & 4 ewes).
