John and I were really surprised when we ran into snow. Starting at the trail head the weather was sunny and I even had a good sweat going until about mile 2 when we got a little deeper into the canyon and ran into some small patches of snow. Pretty soon the temperature dropped about 15 degrees and the whole canyon floor was covered. It was great!
