| no partners | | A Friday-after-Thanksgiving hike with Lynn and "Desert Puppy" Skippy. Have been curious about this switchback trail ascending the south side of South Mountain. Frequently see joggers heading up the trail and decided its time for us to give it a try.
Worthy of its "hill crown" name with spectacular views from the summit despite the recent smog and particulate air pollution plaguing the valley this week.
"Stonehenge" was in disrepair. During a mountain bike circuit about a month ago I stopped at "Stonehenge" and saw a model straight out of Spinal Tap! |
