| no partners | | Thanks, Randal, for documenting this hike. I was able to find the trail no problem with your directions.
My first photo shows the fork in the road; turn uphill to start the trail. This trail is a tough uphill hike, but the views from the top are grand. Once at the summit, I could see the National trail (see photo). There is about 1/2 mile further down and up the last canyon. The trail officially ends where it intersects with the National, just West of the Buena Vista parking lot.
On the way back to the Warpaint Road trailhead, I noticed another trail to the East of the Corona trail, that appears to go straight up another hill (see the last photo). Does anyone know how to find this trail? |
