| no partners | | I decided to start my Memorial weekend a little early by heading up to Sedona on Thursday night. I left work at 4pm and hit the I-17 off Indian School and was on my way. Traffic was moving and I cruised through town and made haste all the way to Sedona. I made a quick stop and then hit Dry Creek Road a little after 6pm.
It was still early so I stopped for a quick hike to the bridge. There were no cars at the trailhead. I had the trail to myself. I followed the old road and enjoyed the views along the way. I was hiking along and next thing I know there is the bridge. It is quite a site from below. I admired for a bit and then worked my way around to the top. The views are equally impressive from above. From there I started down and was back at my jeep in minutes.
Next I was on to Secret Canyon with a goal of backpacking to the Secret-David Miller junction. The sun was setting and I was on my way. |
