We drove Bob's CRV to within 3 1/2 miles of the ruins, but did much more walking than that in the search. We did place a few cairns on the way out to help anyone new to the area. We were elated to find so many flowers, a gila monster, and an Arizona Black rattlesnake. All this topped off with sighting of caves at first and working our way around the dry creek bed to find trails leading to the ruins.
On our return, we stopped at the Rock House Grocery for local information on dwellings in the area. The nice lady running the store tried to answer all of our questions. These must be the easiest to approach of any ruins in the area. A Great Day! |
