Took my kids on this hike as a last minute idea. We left the house at 2:45pm and were on the trail at 3:15. We hiked along the washes until we reached the campspots beneath the cliff walls. My daughter, Emma, has taken a liking for anything amphibian or reptile. So, she was in toad heaven when she saw all the young red spotted Arizona toads hopping around along the waters edge. There were mostly just puddles of water here and there...no running water.

Temp and conditions were perfect. It was a beautiful way to wrap up the weekend.

This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.
