Parked at Mining Camp (12:30pm) and headed out towards Praying Hands via Siphon Draw. A group of climbers were rappelling down the side of the Praying Hands formation as I hiked past them. I continued down the trail towards a drainage that leads up to 5024 from the north. Arrived at a large slick rock area with several cascading dry falls. A few of the tinaja's (water pools) contained standing water which seemed strange considering the low precipitation of late.
