Hiked the loop with a detour to check out Mountain Spring and then hiked out on the Prospector Trail where we found a little solitude to enjoy a bite to eat. Saw our first rattler of the season right alongside the trail taking in some rays. Very docile. Once we hit the Gateway Trail we joined in on the hiker train and cruised back to the TH.
