| no partners | | Was sucking wind today. Don't know if there was more pollution than there appeared to be, or if I ate too many snacks during the Monaco Grand Prix and Indy 500 yesterday. I suspect the former.
Picked up two plastic bags -- thankfully poop free -- and a plastic widget that looked like half a chip clip.
Saw a red shirt about half way up from Cave Creek Rd., hanging from a bush. Figured someone had dropped it, and someone else had put it in the tree in case the first person came back for it. Not wanting to leave that to chance, was going to take it with me as well. Then I noticed it was for some organization called TeamRWB.org, "Enriching the lives of America's veterans". Given that today is about honoring those veterans, and not cooking brats or drinking beer, I figured I'd make an exception, and leave it on the trail to remind others.
Saw a moderate-sized bird that was greyish-less greyish, in steaked colors, with the exception being rather large white splotches on the top of the wing root. Any ideas? |
