Icehouse the easy way. Drove to the top of the Pinals via route 651. Took about 45 minutes from the turn in Globe to the Upper Pinal Rec area.

Roasted some hotdogs and marshmallows with the kids. Walked the Ferndell Trail and then upper section of Icehouse Canyon.
