I was returning from Tempe and while heading up Priest, I thought, damn, I ought to hike Camelback today! Parked on the Cholla side and made my way to the top. Purchased a new DSLR camera on Saturday and was aching to get some photo time in to get acquainted with my new gadget. There were plenty of subjects to get pictures of. Met a super nice couple visiting from Toronto. They have been hiking it up while in AZ. They did Echo Canyon yesterday, Squaw peak this morning, and was heading up Cholla this afternoon, WOW!!
