Had to take the new shoes out for a test spin. Yesterday it was a gentle South Mountain hike and today I put them to the test on the Flatiron. La Sportiva Bushido are the shoes and they did excellent in the grip department. Next I need to give them a test on something with a little distance. So far I like them a lot. The big question is can I get at least 300 miles or more out of them. That's what I typically get with the Vasque Mindbenders. These are far more grippy and offer better toe protection. Both benefits for a klutz like me.
