The forecast was good so a trip to the Supes was in order. The trails are good and I was alone on the hike out Dutchman trail. Once on top of Black Mesa I looked around and found the ORO rock at the north end. On the return trip I finally saw two people on horseback and then a trail runner. Shortly after passing those three I saw a diamondback curled up on the trail. He looked to be waiting to ambush some breakfast. After a few photos I worked my way around the snake and continued on. There were several more hikers coming in as I neared the trailhead. The weather was still nice at 10:30a when I finished.
