My first descent into upper Parker Canyon. My friend Dean and I met up with Jason (thanks to Pam (outdoor lover) for making the introduction to Jason). We gathered up our gear and drove to the mouth of Parker.

Started our descent around 10am. A few small rappels to start things off. Each one dropping into near icy cold pools. Jason and Dean wore full suits. I had my shorty.

Very light water flow. The final 80 foot rap makes for a strong finish before exiting the canyon. Was able to swing out to my right to stay dry on the last rappel.

This is my gym. I have to travel down a bumpy road to get there. There are no treadmillls, no machines, and no personal trainers. I walk..I run..I breathe the fresh air. I can go any time I want, as much as I want and there is no membership fee.
