This morning, I asked my kids if they wanted to go for a hike, and my daughter responded with "Yes, but only if you buy me two tacos when we're done." Deal! But what happened with demanding DQ? While we were getting ready, my friend Whitney texted me to see if we wanted to join her & her daughters (same age as my kids) for a short hike. I told her we were already planning on hiking, and she said they would meet us at the trailhead. We made surprisingly good time considering it was four little kids. We stopped at the ruins, and the kids had a snack and played for about half an hour before we headed back. Fun day with the kids, and a nice little hike to finish out the year.
