Then again, for that hike to have happened I'd of needed to approach from Arrow North. Instead, we headed up into Arrow South and turned into one of the major north side spurs. It was great!
The eight hour effort might have been more reasonably looped in six, but the more time spent up in that area the better. Once to the top of the cut, we did traverse out and over to the Bell Cut (Arrow North...South Fork) and got to hike above the monster Amphi. and on across to the North Fork for our descent. We used our short rope to drop over the edge and into the canyon proper, then ambled our way on down the always exceptional Arrow North.
That canyon has grandeur!
Rebekah was allotted the namesake on the new Arrow South spur... she earned it! Mary heard her mumble something about it being the hardest thing she'd ever done!!
All in all... good day out! |
