With Lynn and Skippy. We arrived at the TH parking lot at 5pm and the thermometer showing 84 degreesF. Hiked up to the saddle and took in the sights sitting on the park bench for a while. We noticed that no vehicles were passing along the road and then it dawned on us that it must be a "silent Sunday" http://phoenix.gov/parks/hikesoth.html http://phoenix.gov/NEWSREL/ARCHIVE/2007/MAY/12505sundays07.html.

We continued along the National Trail up past the CCC Lookout Shelter and headed back when our stomachs sent hints that its past dinner time...
