| no partners | | First big monsoon storm hit the Gila Valley tonight!
The cells came from the south as I raced to Roper Lake to set up on the dam.
Watched Mariah Mesa take a direct lightning hit as I was setting up ..... wow!
The storm then hit hard and I was forced to leave with only a few pics as the heavy rain came in.
Headed west out to Frye Mesa road and set up quickly in front of the storm now hitting Safford.
Once again only a few pics before it caught up with my location bringing more very heavy rain.
Finally a chaseable storm for this 2016 season, not many pics, but twas an Awesome one to just watch!
